Ky Kiske is a central figure in the Guilty Gear series, introduced in the first installment (1998). Orphaned at the age of 10, he rose to become a member of the Sacred Order of Holy Knights and later the king of Illyria. His rivalry with Sol Badguy began when Sol fled the Order, taking the Fūenken (Fireseal). Ky later married Dizzy, a half-Gear, and they have a son named Sin. In Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- (2014), Ky works alongside Sol, Sin, Leo Whitefang, and Elphelt Valentine to stop the Conclave from resurrecting Justice. By Guilty Gear -STRIVE- (2021), Ky helps Sol defeat a godlike I-No, and Sol is officially declared dead. Ky appears in every Guilty Gear game alongside Sol.
